La Tabella, situated in the heart of Churchtown, Southport, opened in 2014.

The cosy Italian Restaurant & Bar offers freshly made traditional pizza and pasta dishes as well as some surprising alternatives with a twist.

In addition, there is an extensive selection of starters and main courses to enjoy in an informal and convivial intimate atmosphere.

    Love coming here, a great variety of food, cooked and served with a smile as always, we had a nice table upstairs and it doesn’t matter if it’s busy (it usually is) the food and service stays the same. I had to have my pizza boxed up as couldn’t eat it all. Can’t wait to go back

    La Tabella has become our "go to" restaurant when we have friends and family visiting. Having eaten here several times now, we have learnt that just turning up is a waste of time, booking is imperative, and I fully understand why. The food here is sensational, especially my personal favourite, the risotto, and the service second to none. The staff are all very friendly and attentive, all the way down from the manager to the waiters. Truly a gem in this quaint part of Southport.

    Called in on the off chance at 5.30 on a Tuesday evening. Within an hour it was packed - we were lucky to get a table.

    And it wasn't hard to see why. The food is very good - and reasonably priced. Service was very good. Midweek they have a £10 pizza / pasta special including starter or dessert - very good value.
